P3 TO LIFE INTERVIEW EPISODE 2

    Courtney’s Experience with:

the P3toLife Program During Phase 3 of the hCG Protocol

How much weight have you lost with hCG so far, what kind of hCG did you use, and where are you currently at in your weight loss journey?

I have lost 28 pounds with HCG - I began in January 2017 and used HCG drops. I am about half way in my weight loss journey, maybe a little under half way.

If you were to explain to an hCGer in just a few sentences why the P3 program has been valuable to you, what would you tell them?

It made eating/cooking fun again without the stress of wondering if you were cheating or screwing up. I was not looking forward to P3 AT ALL until I found this Phase 3 to Life program. I was confused on what exactly to do and was planning just to follow Phase 2 but with increased amounts - which, was not something to look forward to. I was so sick of the P2 foods and I really didn't want to spend 3 more weeks eating them, and then to add to that I would be eating that boring food without any weight loss.

Once I came across this program I was sold immediately. The recipes looked amazing and it was so nice to have something established that took away all the guessing. The Phase 2 is SO strict and laid out for you and then to go into Phase 3 of the hCG protocol with very little guidance was stressful. This was something to look forward to without any stress or planning. Love it!

What did the P3 program provide to you that you feel like you didn't have before without it on past Phase 3s? (If you've done P3 before)

I failed my last Phase 3 hard and that was 100% due to not believing I really had to do it or having the knowledge of what P3 was for. This time, I was very committed and this program has helped in every way. The coaching sessions on the P3tolife site taught us a lot and then the recipes have been life savers. It feels like we are cheating, but know we aren't, which makes P3 easy. P3 was going to be stressful and take SO much planning if we were to do it on our own.

How did you end up following the program - did you do the original plan, the simplified, or build your own meal plan or just tweaks to one of these? Can you give a few details of how you utilized the program and tailored it to yourself and your circumstances?

I printed off weeks 1 and 2 in full and we got the groceries for basically both weeks. Then we chose each day from the weekly plans. We followed the basic idea of making more servings so you can have it for lunch the next day as well. So we kind of did a build your own, but the first 2 weeks we only used weeks 1 and 2 meals and then week 3 we added a few new ones.

Can you share your results - how your weight has been, while following the P3 program?

I lost 3 pounds during the first 2 weeks of Phase 3 and have maintained at the 3 pound weight loss during the last week.

Have you struggled on past p3's and if so what were your struggles?

I basically just skipped P3 last time and then gained it all back plus went on to gain another 20-30  pounds over the next year

Were there any positive results from following the plan that surprised you, that you weren't expecting? Have you learned anything new from the program?

HUGELY - honestly this Phase 3 hCG diet maintenance program has completely changed my mindset. I love the recipes, I love the way I feel throughout the day with no sugar and no gluten etc. I have a lot more energy and I feel like I have a new outlook on food and cooking and eating in general. I intend to continue to eat this way on a regular basis. Which is something I never thought I would ever say.

I have always been someone who likes to eat healthy but not really deprive myself if I want it on the weekends or birthdays or whatever excuse I could cook up that day (which obviously wasn't working very well since I got to 200 lbs at 5'3). But I now believe you can eat very healthy, without all the added sugar and gluten and carbs etc. and still be extremely satisfied. I've learn more than I could have possibly imagined and I feel like a different person. This is going to be very helpful in the upcoming rounds I have planned as well.

What were one or two of your favorite recipes in the plan?

(Haha! Looks like she couldn't pick just one or two!)

    • The Chicken Poppers
    • Deconstructed Egg Roll Bowl
    • Egg Cups
    • Apple Spice Mug Bread
    • Chili Lime Shrimp
    • Turkey Chili
    • Steak and Cauli Mash
    • Meatballs and Spaghetti squash
    • Mango dessert smoothie
    • Chocolate and PB smoothie
    • Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Any other closing thoughts that you want to share about your experience with the program, or that might help others considering whether or not to give it a try?

It was honestly a fun experience (which is not something I would ever say about ANY OTHER DIET EVER lol). My spouse and I did the program together and we enjoyed picking out our week of meals and what we were going to have when and cooking them together. It made the whole 3 weeks fly by, without any stress of "are we doing this right?" Neither of us gained weight and we TRULY enjoyed the meals.

I love the program and can't wait for even more recipes to come out. It was such a life saver - mentally and physically. I was dread dread dreading doing another 2-3 rounds throughout the next year and a bit.. but now, I just need to mentally prepare to get through Phase 2 because Phase 3 is easy due to this program and doesn't feel like a diet at all.

I just want to thank Courtney for taking the time to let me grill her about her P3tolife program experience. I've been so pleased to see that experiences like Courtney's are not random one-off's but rather the norm. The program was released in March 2017 and I've quite a number of ladies mail in to me with stories very similar to Courtney's.

I hope you enjoyed it! You can learn more about the program and enroll at:
