      1. Rayzel says:

OH good I’m so glad you like!

    2. Is there a substitute for walnut oil in recipe 12?

      1. Rayzel says:

I think coconut oil would work well!

    3. Hi Rayzel!
I’m checking in after completing week four. I stabilized 2.4 pounds above my LDW. I didn’t do any steak days, but I did fast till dinner one day a week. I was so full on all the other days, that a fast day was pretty easy and a nice break from digesting food. This past weekend, I made the Balsamic Pork chops and flax green beans for guests and they loved, loved it. I love being introduced to new ingredients. I thought I was doomed to the basic low carb piece of meat, broccoli, green beans or salad way of eating to maintain, but this is showing me that stabilization and maintenance meals can be so much more flavorful. I’m happy to chat with you about my experience, if you’d like. Sincerely,
      Annette Hairston

    4. Hi Rayzel!
I just want to take a minute and tell you that I am loving the recipes!!! And they will STAY in my cookbook file. I have managed to maintain my LDW, fluctuating only a pound or so FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! And I am usually not hungry at all. I’ve done the HCG diet 7 times now – gaining it all back each time – but NOT THIS TIME! I am so stoked. THANK YOU for all you do to give back to us HCG’rs!

Hey Kathy! That is SO great to hear lady! And you were the one who had to travel out of town while on P3 too is that right?

    5. Subject is Chili Verde

I cannot find pasilla peppers in South Carolina. What substitute?

Thanks for the muffins, I will use this one.

Who knew you would do Week 4. Thank you so much for that.

I have been collecting phase 3 ingredients for a month now.

        Hey Joanne!

Any milder chili pepper would work I think – or if you like spicier you could use jalepeno too.

Pasilla is just more mild- has that chili pepper Taste without being super spicey. You might be able to also use like a smaller portion of jalepeno for some chili flavor by less spiciness and fill rest with bell pepper for the volume part.

        I hope that helps!

    6. Hey Rayzel,
Thank you for all the GREAT recipes. Currently, I’m in the maintenance phase, and rotate all 3 weeks of the recipes, even my husband is enjoying many of the dinner recipes!! My question: I have made the Blueberry Protein bars with Chia several times and use either at Breakfast of a fast snack. They are delicious, but very DRY. I’ve tried to adjusted the ingredients, by decreasing the Protein powder, slightly increasing the oil and milk, but the results remain unchanged. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

Hey there! I had my recipe developer re-do that recipe because we’ve all been having trouble with it! I will update the documents soon but for now, here is the new recipe- they are now muffins :)-
        Blueberry Lemon Muffins

1/2 cup whey protein powder, vanilla
        1/4 cup coconut flour
        2 eggs
        2/3 cup almond milk
        2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
        1/2 cup blueberries
        2 tbsp lemon zest
        1/4 cup lemon juice
        1 tsp baking powder
        1 tbsp chia seeds
        2 tsp Swerve sweetener

Preheat oven to 350 and line 6 muffin tins with paper liners. In mixing bowl, whisk eggs, coconut oil and almond milk until combined. Pour in lemon juice. Stir in chia seeds and lemon zest.

In a large mixing bowl, combine coconut flour, protein powder and sweetener. Pour egg/oil mixture into flour mixture and stir well. Add blueberries and gently stir to combine.

Pour mixture into muffin tins using a 1/3 cup scoop. Bake 25 minutes. Allow muffins to cool 10 minutes.

        1. Hi, just a quick FYI..the directions don’t tell you when to add backing powder…I forgot it..they are mushy.

          1. Rayzel says:

Oh I’m sorry! Which recipe so we can fix it?
