Make It Easy to Succeed and Follow Through

You can post pictures in your comments below! Please feel free to share your P3 living stuff you're doing to help other P3toLifers visualize and get ideas for how to do this!

How to make sure that you follow through with the program?

Motivation is one of the obvious factors but sometimes the realization of what is involved with is hits us and that stops us or slow us down.

So my biggest advice here is

    Be realistic.

Make some minor tweaks to make this easier for you so it's not too time consuming or energy consuming.

Be strategic. If you find something in the past that you struggled with doing, try to break down why it's so difficult for you and instead of just trying to do it anyway. See if there's something you can change in the scenario that can make it easier for you.

Each one of us is in a unique set of circumstances and what will help you get it done will be different than for someone else.

    Example:
A recipe calls for shredded carrots
    Options are:
    - buy premade shredded carrots - these will cost more than buying whole carrots and shredding yourself and probably have less nutrition.
However, it would save you potentially significant time and energy and may make a big difference in you making the home made dish or giving up and heading to your fave restaurant.

So you will have to weigh the pros and cons of each option and decide what you need in order to make it happen.
What you need right now may not be what you need later. Maybe right now you need to buy those pre-shredded carrots because you're already making a huge change simply to cooking homemade meals from fast food.

Later, home cooked meals with healthy ingredients will feel like second nature, and you might feel up to saving a little money and getting a few more nutrients into that cute bod by shredding those carrots by hand. Or you might be exhausted and no matter how capable or comfortable with cooking you are, you STILL want to use the pre-shredded carrots. DO IT. Don't sweat doing the small stuff perfectly so that you CAN do the BIG stuff.

I guess my point is, don't sabotage yourself trying to do the ULTIMATE thing from the start if it's going to trip you up.

There is time to dial in the details.

    What's important right now?

    STABILIZE

What's important right now is eating the right AMOUNTS of food for you body in ratios that won't cause fat gain and allow you to stabilize your weight, while still having meals that taste good and that you feel satisfied with your day of food and that won't create cravings to eat a lot more of it.

High there, I need to do another round of P2. Can I start that after P3 21 days? I’m confused why there is 7 weeks. I haven’t gone through all the documents yet. I’ve only chosen my meal plan. (Simplified) Ordered my Amazon items. And now working on the herbs and spices. P3 starts in 4 days! Thanks so much for this. I’m really looking forward to succeeding in P3 this time!

Hello! Typically there is at least a 6 week break between rounds of hCG. The original protocol anyway had it that way- even when finishing no starches or sugar after initial 3 weeks, you were still supposed to wait 3 additional weeks, and then actually add more weeks between rounds for each successive round- in the end, you can totally do what you want, there’s no real hard and fast rule, but I do think in general waiting at least 6 weeks is best usually for the better weight loss on following round- it seems more likely for the body to get overly taxed otherwise- but just my 2 cents! I hope that helps you decide!

    2. Thank you for all that you do. I’m a full-time working mom with 2 toddlers. I am also a type-A, “aiming too high for the big goals, all or nothing” person and totally have been failing when it comes to my weight/diet post-pregnancies (before pregnancy and my 30’s, my old methods worked SO WELL!!!). As a result, I completely fell off each time and found myself several months later gaining my weight back, adding on more weight, and trying to figure out how it all happened. After doing this the last 2 years, I’m so happy to have your P3toLife program because my last round I didn’t stabilize and had to do multiple correction days (eventually giving up). I’m in my last week of P2, and find this so worth the money, and I haven’t even gotten to the recipes/shopping list yet. I just feel many “experts” give us generic answers they’ve read/heard, the expert maybe has maybe never even needed to do hcg. You, on the other hand, ALWAYS answer all the questions I have in my head right in your videos/posts because you’ve done multiple rounds, and actually talk to HCG’ers for extended periods of times with great questions you would never get to ask in a clinic (time is money people!). I look forward to stabilizing in P3 this time and starting another P2 round with your AP/SP program next month!

Hello! Thanks for this lovely comment. I’m so glad I answers the questions that come up in your head- like you said, the reason I talk about them is because they were the actual questions and struggles I faced myself in my own personal journey. Glad I’m not the only one who wonders this type of stuff lol!! I really hope P3tolife goes well for you- I’d love to hear how things are going after the first few weeks following it if you have time to check in. I agree- at times I try to getting help FROM experts on certain topics to help me add content to this program, but more often than not I end up not even using it because like you said, it’s super generic, and I just do my own research and investigate and be able to give much more specific detail. I think partly what’s hard is when others are just not that personally invested in your success- we are all intimately familiar with this protocol and our desire to maintain so we are all personally invested and will go that extra mile to learn the details and specifics. I hope it goes well!

    3. Hi Rayzel. I ordered the program tonight and am so excited for your email so I can get started, I am on day 33 so I will need to get prepared.

      1. Rayzel says:

Hello hello! So glad to have you here. I will be excited to see how things go for you on P3tolife! If any questions come up just shoot me an email. πŸ™‚

    4. After many rounds of hcg and frustration at gaining all the weight back, I was excited to get “all in” with this program. I stopped hcg 2 days ago so tomorrow is first day of P3! As you can see, I purchased the Instant Pot! Still on P2 yet cooked a whole chicken in 20 minutes πŸ™‚

I am hoping this structure does the trick & I can finally stabilize. I am down 18lbs & would love to keep it that way!

      1. Rayzel says:

Oooh thanks for posting pic!! Instant Pot is THE BOMB isn’t it! It makes life so much easier honestly to still eat healthfully. I hope you do well- please keep in touch and let me know if you have any questions! Would love to hear your results following the program.

    5. Today is Day 1 on P3. Like you Rayzel, I cannot batch cook same day I go grocery shopping! ????
I appreciate the grace and love????to remind us to not overstress ourselves with what lays ahead but to simply keep our focus to stabilize. As a single mom , I’m always planning ahead when possible and sometime it drives me crazy, especially when things don’t go as planned. I certainly don’t want that for this very important process therefore, I planned several food items I’ll keep in fridge and freezer for those crazy moments! That was also a golden idea!????????????????????

I appreciate your hard work and dedication to bring us these wonderful videos and this P3 program. Honestly, you are aaaaaamazing! TY! Btw….I love the layout of the recipes. Makes it easy to read and follow for someone with adhd & slow processing speed! (It’s the layout I voted for on FB!)????????
      Thx beautiful!????
      God bless you! Olga????

      1. Rayzel says:

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Olga! Please keep in touch and let me know how P3 goes for you. It’s so true, it’s so easy for us to overstress things sometimes, but not worth it. Smart to plan ahead like you have! I’m so glad you like the recipe layout! Yep, I just went with the majority vote so most of you liked that best! – Rayzel

    6. I am in the third week of P3. I am seeing patterns in my weight but it has not yet “settled down”. I am finding I am having to add things VERY slowly. For me, fats and oils are not a problem but dairy seems to be. I am still below my LDW and I am thinking the ups and downs are fluid associated with food that don’t agree with me. Does this make sense? I am so grateful to have found recipes and support here- I can SO do this.

    7. The program looks very doable; I am a 40 day round with 22 days to go ???? My first round last year went better than the current one although I gained all the weight back after about six months ???????? I travel a lot so no real structure so I am very hopeful that I will finally succeed this time. I am also following this current round through a Local Weight Loss clinic ( Jacksonville, FL). I am a little bombed because I see the support is no where near what you give and I wish I would have invested in you and your workbook instead but just keep moving forward I tell myself ☺️

      Thank you soooo much Rayzel

    8. I love the program! I have been downloading the meal plans and putting things I will be needing for p3 in my amazon shopping cart. I still have 3 more weeks on p2 but getting ready so I will be prepared. I have been following you and have your p2 book and downloads on the computer which I follow. I like a lot of others have been patiently waiting for you to finish p3.. Thanks for a great program for us to follow..

      1. Rayzel says:

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you are getting all into it already, that’s awesome and I think getting prepared like that is the best way! Man it has been a PROJECT that’s for sure lol. And I have some more good stuff to add for you guys here soon. Stay tuned!

        1. A project well worth every penny to me! I thank you for doing this Rayzel! P3 was a struggle for me once before. This makes it easy and delicious! I’m greatly enjoying these yummy recipes and so are my kids! (For them I change it up to compliment their needs–they’re crossfitters too!) I’M SUUUUPER ENJOYING THESE RECIPES!!!!

          1. Rayzel says:

            Hello alwaysbelieve! πŸ˜‰
I’m so glad it feels worth it to you. OH yes girl if they crossfit then they need like a double portion and some carbs lol!! I’m so glad you are enjoying the recipes- what day of P3 are you on right now?

    9. I just want to say that this program looks amazing. I just finished another round of HCG and did not stabilize correctly and I really want my next round to be my last and with the way you have broken everything down I am confident I will be able to follow through. LOL I have not even started my load days yet but had to pay for this now so I would have it and not have to worry through P2 about what I was going to do for P3 period thank you so much for everything you do πŸ™‚

      1. Rayzel says:

Thank you so much! I am already working on some updates and tweaks based on feedback since we all have different circumstances and such. Yes it’s SUCH a good idea to actually go through this while in P2 so you’ll know what you’re doing in P3 already and have time to prep and get whatever items you might need!
